Denisa's Lodge

It's really quiet here, with clean air and an amazing view. The place sits away from the main road, reached by a well-maintained gravel road, and there's plenty of parking. Rooms are spacious, very clean and heat up quickly. The owners are friendly and kept checking if we needed anything. It was a pleasure meeting them. For what you get, the price feels right. I recommend it if you're staying one night in the area.

The hosts made us feel welcome and checked that we had everything we needed. In winter, a regular car can't make it up the hill to the house, haha, but they'll even come and pick you up from the road at the bottom. Lovely place.

The rooms were very clean, and the view and location are great. I definitely recommend staying here.

The hosts are helpful and nice, and the value for money is very good. You can order any meal if you ask. Rooms are OK and well heated, with a private bathroom and shower, TV and wardrobe. There's plenty of hiking nearby in summer and winter, Vartop Ski resort is 10 km away, and Arieseni is 1 km away. The place is a little off-road, and when it snows it's hard or even impossible to get there without snow chains. There's a spot to leave your car along the path, though, and the host is happy to bring you and your luggage the rest of the way. A good place for a weekend in the mountains.
