The host was very kind and spoke English, which was the one good thing about our stay. The room was dark, cluttered with furniture we didn’t need, not very clean, and far too hot. We couldn’t turn off the heaters, and there was no window in the sleeping area. The TV didn’t work, and of the three outlets, only one had electricity. The bathroom was tiny and its door lock didn’t work. Even the “double” bed seemed sized for children rather than adults. With all that, the price felt completely unreasonable for the inconvenience.

We felt very welcome by the kind, discreet hosts, and the atmosphere was lovely. It’s a good fit for people who love the mountains and nature without needing a lot of fuss. The rooms were okay, with a shared kitchen, barbecue and disc in the yard, and a terrace with tables. There were cute cats and dogs, and a hot water tank. Everything was very good. Thanks to the hosts!

We only stayed a short time and didn’t manage to see everything, so next year we’ll definitely stay longer. There are many attractions nearby, and Valea Ariesenilor is a beautiful area with lots of different places to visit. I first came here ten years ago and returned this summer. The location is a dream, with spacious, clean rooms and wonderful, friendly hosts. Mrs. Viorica is an amazing cook and made whatever food we asked for. It felt like eating at my mother’s house, and I won’t forget the meals. There’s also a jacuzzi in a wooden tub in the yard, where I relaxed so much.
