Vila Corola

Such a nice spot!

Really great place.

A waste of time.

It's a pretty villa from the outside, but what happened inside completely ruined that impression. We were a group spread across several rooms, and money went missing more than once. The owner's wife, who was the maid, and the owner came into our rooms and took money, clothes, and sweets. They also went through our personal things, then tried to make us think we'd taken money from each other. One friend tested it by leaving 20 euros on the table. When he came back, it was gone. They even checked jacket pockets and wallets. At first the owner said he'd return what was missing, but more money kept disappearing over the following days, and he accused us of blackmail. Getting the money back was difficult, and he only did it after we threatened to call the police. That whole experience left me with a very bad impression of the villa. Some people in our group were from other countries, and this made our country look bad to them. I don't recommend staying here. These “family” businesses are disastrous for the outside world!
