The spa was a real highlight, especially the Turkish hammam, which was the best one we've ever tried. It felt authentic and luxurious, and was deeply relaxing. There are lots of saunas and plenty of treatments to choose from, and the whole area was peaceful and very well maintained. We also loved the generous breakfast selection. It was served in a grand ballroom-style room with elegant decor, lots of space, and thoughtful details that made the atmosphere feel both sophisticated and relaxed. SunGarden Golf & Spa Resort sits in a lovely natural setting just outside Cluj-Napoca, and the calm there made it feel like a quiet escape. Our room was spacious, spotless, nicely furnished, very quiet, and comfortable throughout. The staff were professional and attentive without being intrusive, and their hospitality made the stay even better. From arrival onward, everything felt peaceful and carefully put together. We left feeling refreshed and are already keen to return. A great choice for luxury, wellness, and a break from everyday life.

The gym feels stuck in the Soviet era, and access to the spa ends at checkout. Breakfast was mostly notable for its coffee, that's about it. The room's A/C wasn't cooling.

The restaurant was the standout for me, with delicious, beautifully presented dishes. The spa and wellness area is pleasant and comfortable, especially the sauna section, though it needs maintenance to keep up a good standard. Sungarden is a relaxing place surrounded by nature. The rooms are good, but they're missing some amenities.

Stefan, the greenkeeper and waiter, was outstanding. His kindness, hospitality, and cheerful spirit made us feel welcome, a full six out of five stars for him. My family and I were lucky enough to attend a wedding at Sungarden and stayed for nearly a week. Our room in the new section was amazing, and we enjoyed both the spa and the food. A few restaurant waiters seemed to have an attitude and spoke very little English, which got frustrating at times. That's why I can't give the service five stars.

The rooms are really nice, and the spa is clean and cozy. Breakfast is worth adding too, with very good food and a nice range of options.
