Peștera muierilor is very close by, and it's a fantastic tourist attraction. From the pool area, there's a great view of the mountains, and there's also a nice river with fresh water as you come down from the driveway. The surrounding landscapes are magnificent. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with everything that made our stay memorable. It was a pleasure to spend time there, and we'd definitely visit again.

The dinner was quite something: pork ribs cooked slowly for five hours 😋👌. Congratulations to the chef again! We had an excellent stay at the Casa Domneasã guesthouse during our via ferrata weekend. The owner was very friendly and even treated us to a 21 year old French wine and a meal just before we left.

Peștera Muierilor is within walking distance, and the Polovragi monastery and cave are a few kilometers away. Both are worth a visit. There are berries around the house, too, which you can pick if you arrive at the right time. The guesthouse is charming, with beautiful scenery around it in the "Defileul Galben" ("The Yellow Canyon", I believe :-)). The hosts were amazing and even adapted to some unusual food preferences and different mealtimes.

The chef is the best, and the food is delicious. Everyone is so kind and friendly, it feels like being at home. I strongly recommend this place, and there's no doubt we'll return.

The traditional design is great, and I love the rugs. Everything was very clean, and there was a pleasant terrace. The lady in charge was really nice and helpful.
