It’s wonderfully quiet here, surrounded by greenery, and there’s a big field where kids can play. That makes it good for relaxing, even though the place feels lackluster. The hotel has only one waitress and not much choice of drinks. It has so much potential, but the owners don’t seem to care or have invested in making it great. EU funds could help turn it into a place for relaxing and having fun, maybe with a pool or a large playground. To me, it’s perfectly wasted potential.

For a romantic meal, this is a lovely setting. The hotel and restaurant sit among beautiful nature in the mountains just outside the city, and the staff are super friendly. A peaceful, beautiful spot.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds, and the kitchen is OK. What stands out most is the peaceful setting at the foot of the mountain, with birds singing and really friendly staff. Phone reception is very weak, which could be a plus or a minus depending on your situation.

I really enjoyed chatting with the owners. They were friendly and accommodating, and their love for Maramures and pride in everything it has to offer really came through. It was a wonderful experience.

A great spot for enjoying the mountain and forest, yet it’s only five minutes from the center. I really enjoyed my time here, and I’d happily recommend it.
