I only came for the pools, not to stay overnight. For a reasonable 11 euro per person, sauna access was included. There are two indoor pools and two outdoor ones, and the thermal water was hot and very good, without seeming diluted at all. It wasn't crowded. The hotel also has a nice restaurant with reasonable prices, and appears to offer extensive balnear facilities with medical staff.

Our stay was short but very relaxing. The hotel has two indoor pools and three outdoor pools with naturally heated water, and the restaurant served delicious food with plenty of variety. It's a large, clean hotel with very friendly staff. One minor hassle was that extra services on the premises, such as the hotel bar, spa bar, and massage bookings, didn't accept card payments. You could put those charges on your room instead.

Book the indoor pools ahead of time, which helps keep them from getting too crowded. On weekends the pools fill up around 10, so get there early if you want room to swim or have a pool to yourself. They even play retro music by the pool. The food was tasty and the portions were big. Staff were pleasant and polite, and a room on the pool side gives you a nice view. Parking gets packed on weekends, though I suppose that's normal for a hotel this size.

The room was simple, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and pleasant. Breakfast was a standard continental spread with eggs, bacon, and some Romanian specialties. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and the pools and spa are lovely, especially when they're quiet in the morning. It's in a beautiful spot right by the forest entrance, with private parking in front. The staff were polite, kind, and helpful. The price matched what you get, and it's a good fit for a three or four day break.
