Turul Guesthouse and Camping

We had a great stay, especially with so few other people around. The owner was friendly and ready to help, and the grounds were kept in good shape under plenty of shade. There’s a lot here: clean toilets, modern showers, laundry and drying facilities, strong wifi, plus an indoor kitchen and dining space. It’s a well-equipped campsite.

We only stopped because we needed somewhere to sleep at short notice, and it worked out fine. We arrived late without any problems, and the facilities were pretty good. Still, it’s an ordinary campsite without a particularly special setting, and at this price I’d choose another option if one were available. Camping has become expensive enough that we found hotels at similar rates on our trip. We paid 41 euros for two people and our dog. We travel in a regular car and sleep in it, not in a caravan or van.

There’s a playground for children, the bathroom was very clean, and each parking spot has water and electricity. It’s nicely laid out, but the price for all this is very high.

We paid 44 euro for one night in a 4 beds chalet for 4 persons. It has all the facilities a backpacker needs, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Their fast-foos place is a nice extra too, with reasonable prices and really tasty langoș.
