Hotel Bianca

The location by Belis Lake is splendid, with long walks nearby and along the dam for views over the lake. Staff at both the hotel and restaurant were very nice. The room felt a little dated and had a few broken things, but it was clean, the shower was fine, and there was hot water. Breakfast was good too.

The peaceful setting, lovely view, clean room, friendly staff, and good value were the best parts. There’s YouTube on the TV, small dogs are accepted for an extra 100 ron, and an electric car charger is available. Getting around could be tricky with a baby or an older person, and it isn’t stroller friendly. The furniture feels dated and could use some investment. The restaurant is in another building, which isn’t great in cold or rainy weather, and the roughly 30 steps from the parking area to the entrance need attention. I came with a baby and would still return. It’s a lovely place if you’re happy with the basics and mainly want peace, a view, and nice staff. :)

The breakfast service was a real plus, with very good food and a lovely waiter. The bed was good too. The location is amazing, especially waking up by the lake with birds singing. The accommodation itself let us down. The rooms smelled really bad, and the bathroom was awful: the shower doors felt like they were attacking you, and the toilet seat kept moving away. If you care less about the room and just need somewhere for a night, the setting may make it worthwhile.

The rooms are a little dated, but very clean. The staff were welcoming and kind, and breakfast was very good. It’s close to the ski resort in Mariselu and beautiful Belis lake. I’d recommend it for the hospitality and good food.
