The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were very, very kind. The hotel is in a quiet spot near the center, the Bistrita River, and the city’s public swimming pool. It’s well positioned, but the place itself leaves much to be desired. The room was clean, with new furniture and modern air conditioning, but the doors were clearly old, as were the carpet and bathroom. There was a stale-air smell when we came in. It’s great that the furniture and air conditioners were bought through European funding, but with a bit more effort from management, everything could be new and good. The difference between the updated things and old ones stands out. Even the carpets at the hotel entrance could be replaced. I also ate at the restaurant. The tablecloths had holes, and the food wasn’t particularly good or tasty, nothing wow. The morning omelette was a little bland. We asked for toast and got it, but some slices were broken in half, which seemed strange. The salad tomatoes were like plastic. I know that’s not the kitchen staff’s fault, but small details like that matter. Even though it’s clean overall, the hotel and restaurant terrace feel a little shabby and outdated.

It’s close to the center, and you can easily walk to different places. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast cost extra, but it was very good.

The friendly staff gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The hotel has an excellent location between the city park and swimming pool, and the hospitality and party’s organization were truly excellent. I’d definitely recommend it to everybody!

I was only at the festivities hall for a wedding, and the toilets disappointed me: broken mirrors, doors that wouldn’t close, napkins and dirt everywhere. There are way too many mirrors, which make the place seem bigger but also disorienting. The permanent staff were very courteous and serviabile, but the younger workers at events weren’t dressed very well, and seemed like they were only there for the money. There are no windows with nice views, and the terrace is small.

The location is peaceful, with a lovely park and Downtown Bistrita both an easy walk away. We found the hotel comfortable too, with large rooms, huge beds, and everything we needed. We loved Cora. The staff were absolutely awesome and the food was amazing. I especially enjoyed the vegetarian and pescatarian dishes, including trout, Salau, tuna salads, and vegan salads. My fiancée was a fan of the cabbage rolls, trout, and every soup he tried, which was all of them.
