We stopped in Blaj for ciorbă and a main course while driving through. The ciorbă de perișoare was oily, overly hot, and tasteless, while the mititei had a rubbery, gum-like texture. It was a really disappointing meal, especially since my parents always buy meat from Montana Popa.

There's seating inside and outside, with a parking lot and a second sitting area by one entrance. The main entrance on Bd. Republicii street also has a romantic spot where you can have food or drinks. The dining room, tables, and toilets were all very clean. Staff were willing to help, and most of the waitresses were kind and helpful. The food and drinks are usually very good, but during busy hours orders can take a little while.

We've returned several times and are always grateful for the comfort this wonderful host provides. The rooms are large, modern, and exceptionally clean, with very comfortable beds and quality mattresses. It feels like a five-star hotel, and the air is fresh and fine. There's also a nice spa and gym. Right in central Blaj, it's close to all the tourist attractions. The restaurant serves great traditional food at very fair prices compared with big cities, and the friendly staff are always ready to help make the experience a good one. We warmly recommend it.

The staff were so helpful and never refused a request. We stayed at the beginning of June, right in the heart of Blaj, and the hotel also has a restaurant with a terrace. The rooms were very clean and recently renovated, and the included breakfast was pretty nice. Romanian dishes like mici, pork steak, and mushroom cream soup were tasty, and I had lots of wonderful lemonade. If you're a Romanian food lover, you'll enjoy it, but the carbonara seemed to be made with cheese cream or something, so I wouldn't order it again. One thing to know is there's no elevator, which isn't comfortable for someone with disabilities. I also visited this lovely little city in the heart of Romania. I'd recommend the place.
