Dear Cabana Livada, My friends and I stayed at the Cabana from 27.01-28.01 and had the best time. Snow was falling when we arrived, making it feel like a proper winter dream. The fireplace was already lit, so it was warm and cozy inside. The place was modern and clean, with a kitchen fully equipped for cooking. The landlord was really friendly and always came to help when we needed it, including with the fireplace. The next morning, he even cleared the heavy snow off our car. And having the outdoor Whirlpool surrounded by all that snow was amazing. Thanks again for such an unforgettable experience. Even a month later, we’re still thinking about it! Many greetings, Sofie

From the hilltop you get a great mountain view, and although the cabins are in a fairly remote part of Borsa, the city center is about a 30-minute walk away. There are three cabins in all, including two Type A models, which is what we stayed in. They look great inside, with simple, mostly minimalist decor, and the price works out well when four people share it. We could cook comfortably in the full kitchen, which had pots and pans, an electric oven and stove, a microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, and more. Each cabin also has a grill area. It’s nice to have that setup, though take a break to try some local food too. There’s a hot tub for an extra charge, about 200 RON, roughly 40€, and you need to ask ahead so they can clean it properly after each use. The fireplace is yours to keep going, and they provide the wood and tools. Our contact was very nice and listened to our requests when they could help, like getting us a long power outlet. A few things could be better: there’s no way to control the cabin temperature, and the front porch isn’t covered, so you can’t sit on the bench when it rains. The water temperature swings between very hot and cold, and could use a way to balance it, like a boiler. The bed is really hard. Some drawers or a small wardrobe in each room would be useful for clothes, and an extra blanket or cover in the cabin would help.

It’s a lovely, quiet area for walks and relaxing, and the cottage is conveniently close to attractions and points of interest. The space is very clean, well maintained, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

A quiet escape from the city, with a beautiful view and a cottage equipped with everything you need. There were a couple of drawbacks: one hair dryer didn’t work, and the upstairs room felt quite uncomfortable because of the cottage’s shape, though it’s manageable. The hot tub costs extra, which seems odd at this nightly price, and there wasn’t much flexibility about it. Grandma Ileana made up for that by simply showing up at a cottage in the neighborhood! 😇🥰
