The room stayed at a comfortable temperature overnight in summer, and the guesthouse itself was quiet. It’s a good base for hiking Vf Pietrosu, with the Borsa Olympic Trail about a 30-minute drive away. Borsa center is close by car, or about a 40-minute walk. We found the room clean, with a fridge, a roomy wardrobe, a comfortable bed and a thick blanket. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with towels provided. There’s generous parking, plus a garden with a pool, barbecue area and gazebo. The kitchen has lots of useful equipment. The lady who helped with our reservation was very kind and helpful. Really recommend staying here.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you need an invoice. The lady apologized and said, "the accountant is on vacation." Honestly, I've never run into such an embarrassing situation before.

This is a peaceful guesthouse away from the crowds, though families with children may find it less suitable since there isn't a big yard or playground. It works well for couples or groups of up to 6-8 people. The host is very friendly, and the rooms are just like the photos: clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. You can tell care and good taste went into the place, with more than just money spent on making it welcoming for tourists.

The staff are friendly and the place is clean, but arriving to a cold room in winter was rough. We had a small child with us after the road trip, and had to wait in the cold for the room to warm up. This has happened to me at other guesthouses too, but please heat the rooms before guests arrive and offer decent conditions for what people pay. We also ended up with party guests, and there didn't seem to be a quiet-hours arrangement for families with children. I'm writing this in the hope they make some improvements and take steps to address it in future.
