The mountain scenery is beautiful, the log cabin is lovely and very clean, and the food was great. I really enjoyed staying here and recommend it.

I gave it one star because in winter I couldn't drive up the sloping entrance. I think they should have cleared the ice.

With so many guesthouses nearby, I honestly wouldn't recommend Silvania. The shower door was broken, so water covered the floor, and the bathroom was small for our room of three. The TV didn't work except for a music channel, which had a poor signal. We had hot water the first night, but none on the second. The room was cold, there was no gel or shampoo, and it wasn't very clean. For what it offered, the price seemed high. Look for another pension.
