The receptionists gave us a really warm welcome. I'm staying at Hotel Maria this week, and it's one of those classic hotels you hardly find anymore. They've kept that old-fashioned furniture, atmosphere, and service in good shape. The mattress is very comfortable, the linens get changed daily, and the location is superb. Safe parking is included right in front of the hotel.

The rooms are a good size and clean, though the old-style mattresses aren't very comfortable for a four-star hotel. They also didn't have shaving kits available.

We arrived late, so having reception open 24 hours was handy. The rooms were private, nicely arranged, and very clean, and there's private parking on the property. On my two weeks traveling around Romania, this was the nicest hotel for the price. There are plenty of little shops and restaurants just outside, all within walking distance. I'd definitely come here again!

We had a reservation for the olympics, but they assigned me to share with a female colleague. When I asked them to sort it out, their response was, "How could I know your gender from your names?"

The garden and pool are fantastic, and the employees are five-star. It's a lovely spot in Botosani to eat, have drinks, and relax. The hotel has what you need to rest and feel at home.
