Hotel Orient

We slept really well from the first night. The mattresses were just right, neither too soft nor too hard, which usually takes me a night to adjust to. The Deluxe room had nice vintage-style furniture that wasn't actually old, plus a tiny but useful fridge for water, beer, or even a small melon. With temperatures over 38°C outside, the AC was a big help. The bathroom was larger than I expected, though the toilet paper holder was a bit far from the seat. :D Parking is on the sidewalk, and the receptionist will point out a spot if there's no space right in front. Breakfast had enough variety to keep us from getting bored over a few days. The hotel and rooms are usually quiet, but the soundproofing could be better. There was an event in the restaurant downstairs on Friday night, and we could faintly hear music on the third floor. I can only imagine how it was on the second floor or right above the restaurant. If I needed quiet, I'd avoid a weekend stay. The location was practical, about 5 minutes by car from the center or the Danube shore, with shops and markets nearby for whatever we needed.
