Porto Franco Residence

The staff were nice, but the room was a mess of problems. The air conditioning barely worked and blew no cold air, apparently because it hadn't been cleaned since purchase. I had to ask for its remote, and then find an extension cord because the cable wouldn't reach a socket. The old television was tiny and stuck at one end of the room, so I had to pull up a chair to see it, or use binoculars. I had to make the bed myself, fitting the covers into their cases. My girlfriend killed a spider, which had been the only thing keeping mosquitoes out, since there were no window nets for mosquitoes or flies. I asked for an iron and ironing board, but got only the iron, with instructions to return it first thing in the morning because staff use it for tablecloths and such. They had no ironing board. I ran the shower on hot for ten minutes and couldn't work out why there was no hot water, until I switched it to cold and hot water came out. At reception I had to ask for shower gel or something, as the room had only three small shampoo packets and a couple of small hand soaps.
