We especially enjoyed chatting with the owner in the outdoor dining area. He told us about the history of the region and the country, offered us a taste of traditional Palinka, and invited us for coffee. The other staff were lovely too. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the views were great, and Bran Castle and the historic centre were very close. The service felt personal, the price was very good, and we’d happily stay again.

The little cats were a highlight for me. There were two or three, friendly and happy to be petted, but not clingy. We also had a really nice stay at penzione Bianca. The hostess was kind and patiently answered all our questions, even though the hosts don’t speak English and had to make an effort to communicate. Our room was clean, practical, and had some charm. It was a great deal for the price, and we had a small snack in the morning. Bran castle was about a 10-minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend it!

The location is the only good thing, about 10 minutes from Bran Castle. Everything else was awful: the room was cramped and smelled bad, the sheets and bathroom were dirty, and there were insects everywhere. The bathroom lights wouldn’t turn on, and there was no soap or anything.

We’ll come back! The Bran castle is nearby, and there’s a nice kitchen plus a spot to barbecue and eat outside. The host was lovely and the rooms were comfortable. I really recommend this hotel to everyone! 🫶🏼

Thanks for having us! The warm atmosphere and lovely people made exploring Bran much more enjoyable. Our room had a Mountain View, and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable. We’ll be back :)
