The landscaped yard is lovely, with greenery separating each chalet and a little shared pond with a small waterfall to look out at from the terrace. There are two reclining chairs with fleece blankets and another lounger out there, plus one parking space for each chalet. I’m still here as I write this, and the place looks beautiful inside and out. The chalets are easy to reach from the main road, though navigation helps you spot the turn onto the narrow access road. They have most of what you need: a kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, hob and utensils, along with an open wardrobe and hair dryer. I’m not sure whether there’s an iron, and there’s no washing machine, just a small drying rack.

The owners have clearly put a lot of care into making this a special stay. It feels tucked away, even though the castle is nearby. A lovely place with excellent conditions, and one I’d wholeheartedly recommend.

We liked the place so much we hardly wanted to leave the property. The owners are friendly, helpful, and clearly love animals. ThomHof Chalets are furnished with great taste and had everything we could wish for. We’ll definitely come back, and would happily recommend a stay here.

There were toys tucked in one of the cabinets, which the kids were happy to find. The chalet was nicely put together and had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and so were the animals. We met three cats and three dogs.

The restaurant at the main hotel has only a few dishes, but what we ate was really tasty, and you can pay however you like. The chalets are easy to get to from the main road and Bran Castle is close by. Poiana Brasov is about 20 minutes away, so it's a great base for skiing.
