Ataraxya Premium Residence

Getting to the main parts of the city was easy, and communication was okay. But the room wasn’t properly clean at check-in, the vacuuming had been superficial, and we had to call to get it done. It was also a bit noisy near the street. There was no AC or fridge, and with no mosquito net, leaving the windows open wasn’t ideal.

We had a lovely three-day vacation in this beautiful place in the historic center of Brashov. The view was great, and everything was clean and suitable. The administration and staff were welcoming, and it was peaceful. Thanks to everyone!

Customer interaction could be better.

I chose this place because the listing said there was parking, but it didn’t mention that there are only two spaces and they’re always occupied. Parking in the area took at least an hour when I was lucky, and because it’s central, finding a spot is difficult. During my four days in Brasov I ended up paying another 100 lei for parking and around 150 for the taxi. There was also an 85 lei fee supposedly for the Brasov city hall. That should have been mentioned in the listing, or included in the room price, so guests know what they’ll be paying.
