Everything about the stay felt comfortable and clean, and the location was right on point. The value for money was incredible too. For once in Romania, there wasn’t anything we disliked. This was the best accommodation we’ve had on our trips in Romania. We’re not seasoned travelers, but we’ve stayed in quite a few places here and abroad, and we’ve come to see how much accommodation can shape a vacation. This one left us genuinely amazed.

The clean room had useful amenities, and the owner responded promptly on WhatsApp. Casa Barițou is in a handy central spot in Brașov, near restaurants and attractions. Getting to the room means going through several doors and up stairs, which could be a real struggle with big suitcases, a stroller, or limited mobility. Breakfast works by voucher at one of three places. At L’Atelier Duo De Chef, we got just a bacon croissant and coffee, with no alternatives. That’s an issue if you have dietary restrictions. The experience was mixed.

Even though the apartment is right in the center, it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. It was spotless and had all the little things we needed for a great stay. The host was friendly and very focused on guests. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great time and will definitely return. The owner communicated with us really well, and the gorgeous rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The whole place exceeded our expectations.

Self check-in was easy, and the place was very clean and well situated. Great value for the money.
