Casa Chitic Balcescu Hotel

There’s a Parki right in front of the property, which is a real bonus in such a busy town. The room was huge and comfortable, and breakfast had loads to choose from. The staff were friendly and supportive, making us feel at home. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Brasov and close to all the main attractions. I’d definitely recommend it!

The staff made a big difference for me as a solo traveler who needed some help. They were really great and helpful, especially Shehan Shen and kaleen. Thanks to the whole team, they really lifted my experience. The hotel is just a two minute walk from the city center. My room was clean, warm, and well equipped, with a cozy old city feel and a great atmosphere for visiting Braşov. Until we meet again, Braşov ✋🏻

A charming, well kept youth hostel, and very handy for a quick visit to the historical center. It was warm even in the heart of winter, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful. A few things really crossed the line for us. A horrible toilet smell came through the air conditioning and needs to be fixed quickly. The bedding was only marginally hygienic, though that’s entirely the responsibility of successive occupants. And some guests arrived at 1 a.m. and forgot others were sleeping, so make sure to be just as noisy at 6 a.m. and wake them up.

There were eight of us traveling through Brosnov, and the hotel was in a very convenient central part of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, while the affordable rooms were nice and had good views of parts of the city. We also enjoyed the breakfast and its nice selection.
