Hotel Global

By checkout there was nobody to speak with, so we just left. The stay was far too expensive to consider again. We arrived to find the room wasn't ready, went to visit my aunt, and came back at 8 pm to no hot water and barely any pressure. I called the front desk about ten times, then gave up and showered anyway. Everything that could go wrong did.

For the same price, you can find better places. The rooms weren't very comfortable, and the mattress was uncomfortable too. In my room, the sewage pipe made a loud noise whenever someone upstairs used the toilet or shower. It’s nothing special and not close to the city center.

The walls are paper thin, and the room was kind of dirty. Still, after dealing with the water, those things barely mattered. There was no proper hot water, just lukewarm at best and icy at worst, with -2C outside in December. Stay away.

It’s very basic, but also very cheap. The double room cost 120 lei, so I can’t really complain about what you get for the money. Still, calling this a three-star hotel feels misleading when it’s this basic.
