After hiking Seven Ladders Canyon and Piatra Mare Chalet, this was a great stop for a meal and a cold drink. The woman who served us was really nice. Ask her what she recommends if you visit Hanul Domnesc for authentic Romanian food.

I stopped in because I was hungry and nearby, and would recommend giving it a try. The interior is large, there’s a pleasant outdoor terrace, and plenty of free parking in the courtyard. The staff were nice and helpful, and both the food and service were good. The menu has lots to choose from, though getting the order can take a little time. It’s not a romantic dinner setting, but a good place to try Romanian cooking.

We’re visiting from Wales, and Adrian was so kind and helpful when my family and I came for dinner. He helped us pick traditional local dishes, and the portions were generous and excellent. We enjoyed the drinks too. Thank you!
