La Maisonnette

We’d booked a room in another apartment belonging to the owner, but he knew we were arriving in Brasov first in rainy weather and offered us an upgrade to this place as a wedding gift. He even left prosecco in the room. It’s spacious and elegant, with very comfortable beds, a couch, and a bathroom. Everything looked and felt just right. From the window there’s a view of the main square, the mountains to the side, and the black cathedral beyond the square. Highly recommended for the location, and especially for the owner and his brother’s kindness and professionalism.

We had everything we needed in this cozy, clean apartment. The location was great, and the apartment itself was nice.

We got good value for money, and the room was clean, though small. The location was very good, but the restaurant in the alley where the apartment is located was really loud at night and early in the morning.

The apartment was noisy, next to a back street lined with restaurants and cafes, and it wasn’t even in the building shown as the hotel location. The location on Google was wrong, and there was no parking nearby. The Booking photos didn’t match either. Inside, the hygiene was awful: dirty, dusty floors, dirty glasses, and a bathroom I had to clean before I could use it. The internet connection wasn’t good. For the price, I expected normal conditions. When I returned the keys, the owner wasn’t at reception, so I gave my feedback to a random woman who didn’t even apologize. A really disappointing stay. I don’t recommend this place.
