They cancelled my booking and left me facing another accommodation 2 hours away. When I called to ask why, I was spoken to horrifically. I’ve never been treated so rudely by a hospitality business. The customer service and management were absolutely shocking. I wish I could give zero stars, since it doesn't deserve even one. I wouldn’t stay there even if I were paid to. Thanks for ruining my trip to Romania! :)

They had at least 3 overbooked reservations for the same evening and left us standing on the street for 2 hours without even offering an explanation. We only had one evening in Brasov, and instead of enjoying it, we had to wait and search for somewhere to stay. It ruined our visit. Not acceptable. Avoid.

A car would make it easier to get there. The place itself is lovely and cozy, full of antiques, and the owners are a very nice family.

There’s no second way in or out, so you have to return along the same road you arrived on. We stayed for 4 nights because we couldn't cancel, and staff didn't come by for 4 days. Very bad service.

The bedding in my room didn’t smell fresh, and the bathroom had only a jacuzzi. Its shower head was broken, so I couldn't take a proper shower. The map pin for this vintage hostel was off by 500 meters, which was frustrating on a narrow, overgrown street well out of the way. The owner wouldn’t listen on the phone and just told me to follow Google Maps. I was charged for checking in at 11 PM for the first time. Without a car, there’s nothing to do here. If you do drive, watch out for the very steep courtyard parking entrance, which could burn your clutch.
