Mer Guest House BB

We'd definitely come back to Brashov. The employees all do their best to make guests feel welcome, and the beds were great. Breakfast was generous and tasty. A wonderful place to stay.

Mer is in a beautiful, peaceful spot, and the host was so kind and helpful. It's a small, intimate place, so breakfast doesn't have a huge range and you won't be surrounded by lots of other guests. That suited us well. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everyone was friendly. We loved staying here and would happily return. A kettle in the room would be nice for an evening cup of tea. My travel buddy also hoped for sausages at breakfast, like in the Booking.com photo, but neither thing affected our stay. We’d recommend it.

Alina welcomed us warmly and was so thoughtful throughout our stay. She clearly loves her work and deserves a raise. We had a wonderful time here.

Alina was a perfect host, and the location gave us a peaceful break from the noise and traffic of Brasov old town. It was about a 10-minute walk to the main square, with a steep section, but the quiet made it worthwhile. Our room was the only one with a balcony and didn't have A/C. They bought us a deluxe fan, which made it comfortable even on hot days. The temperature also dropped nicely in the evenings and overnight. The common area does have A/C. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit and yogurt would make it even better. We could order eggs cooked how we wanted, and they were very good. The self-service coffee machine makes several kinds of drinks. Getting there by car was easy with GPS, using the Northern connection.
