The bed and the amount of space worked well for one person. Still, the toilet was extremely narrow and uncomfortable to sit on. The building is a bit confusing to navigate, and the actual entrance is by the restaurant called "Ogarda". The place looks more outdated than it does in the pictures. Its very central location also means you can hear louder voices from outside, though that didn’t seem like a major problem.

The location is perfect for the Old Town. To get a great view of the Old Town tower, though, you’ll need to climb some steep steps that aren’t very deep. Don’t follow the gmaps directions. Go around to the other side and look for the entrance by Ogradă restaurant.

Being right in the center of Brașov is the main thing this place has going for it. The accommodation itself is basic, but it works for an overnight stay.

I’ve been coming back for 7-8 years and still look forward to staying here. The restaurant food is really good, and the staff feel like family now. They’re so thoughtful they often know what I’m about to order. It’s clean and warm, and the prices are below average for places in the center, especially considering the conditions here. ❤️
