The location was great, close to the center yet quiet, and the hotel deserves four stars for its service and design. Vlad was exceptionally hospitable and really went the extra mile. When he found out we had to leave at 7:30 a.m. for a day trip and breakfast wouldn't be served until 8, he arranged with the head chef to pack toast for us to take along, before the restaurant had even opened. The accommodation itself was exceptionally good.

New, clean, quiet, and close to the city center. The place was perfect and exceeded our expectations. For a small extra amount, you can also get a nearby parking spot. Very fair accommodation and great value for money.

The location is really handy, close to the main attractions, and being able to pay for a parking spot and leave the car there was very useful. It’s a boutique hotel with kind people and fair prices. I didn’t try the breakfast.

We loved having breakfast with that view. The à la carte choices were delicious, and Vlad looked after us brilliantly, very professional and thoughtful. The owners were also friendly and quick to respond while we were booking. Our spacious, clean, comfortable room had a balcony with a little table for two, where we sat in the morning and again before bed. From there we could see the Olimpia Tennis courts and Brasov’s old town, including the Black Church. It’s a 5-7 minute walk to the square in the old city centre. UpperHouse Brasov was a delightful stay, and we’d recommend it to families visiting Brasov.

The breakfast alone made this place stand out for us. It’s à la carte, and the savory dishes are prepared with real care, every bit as good as what you’d get at a great brunch restaurant. The rooms are modern, clean, and quiet, and the whole place smells lovely. The team is incredibly polite. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Brasov.
