Getting welcomed and checked in wasn’t a good experience, and the breakfast was only decent. The orange juice tasted like a cheap supermarket brand, so I’d skip it. The place is beautifully designed and well positioned, but mornings were a letdown: there’s no coffee machine in the room, and you can’t get coffee at the hotel before breakfast.

At Vila Katharina in Brașov, everything felt well taken care of. The staff were attentive, warm, and always willing to help, and breakfast was a highlight. You choose your dishes the night before, with a varied and delicious selection served with the same lovely hospitality. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the central location made it easy to explore Brașov on foot. We stayed from Friday 22nd August until Thursday 28th August, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Service came with a lovely smile, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The period rooms have lots of charming details that make you feel transported back in time, while still offering all the modern comforts. WOW really is the best word for it. Look no further if you want to make your stay in Brasov special.

If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the patio rather than the main road. There are only three rooms in this renovated old villa, now a lovely small boutique Hotel in the heart of Brasov. We had a beautiful stay, with spacious bathrooms, a fresh and healthy breakfast, and helpful, attentive staff. Thank you 🙏 We’ll be back for sure ❤️
