George and Andreea were some of the nicest, friendliest hosts I’ve met. The rooms feel warm, quaint, and cozy, and the bathrooms are clean with hot water coming promptly. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, plus a lovely green courtyard with a great barbecue spot. We also enjoyed dinner around the big table in the communal dining room, meeting other travelers and playing ping-pong. A definite five-star recommendation.

The accommodation fits the local customs and landscape, from its architecture through to the facilities. There’s a barbecue, ping-pong, darts, and some other things to enjoy. It’s in an excellent location, and the owners are wonderful, very helpful, and speak English.

We tour Europe by camper van every summer, and this is a rare place we’ve returned to three times. The scenery is breathtaking, and George and Andrea are warm, lovely, welcoming hosts. There’s great food, horse trekking, and plenty to do, from walking, fishing, cycling, and swimming to simply enjoying the natural surroundings. More than anything, George and Andrea have helped us understand and appreciate Romanian culture and history, from jam making, wild herbs, and agriculture to nature, history, and politics.

The scenery is beautiful, everything is spotless, and the hosts are lovely. I came with my family and we’ll be back.
