Lina Hotel

I made a mistake staying here, so be careful. The place was filthy, and the people around seemed strange and unhelpful. I was with a group, and when I put the sheets on the floor to be cleaned, they were placed back on the bed from the floor. Any key could open all the room doors. I complained, but nobody paid attention. It felt insecure and dirty.

The location worked well for getting to the city center, with public transport along the boulevard, though traffic made it noisy. Closing the window helped. We had a spacious twin room for two nights in what looked like a recently renovated hotel. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren't great, and cleanliness could be better. The new air conditioner and TV both worked; there was no fridge. The renovated bathroom was decent and clean, though the sink was small. Breakfast came with our package, but it was modest: bread, butter, scrambled eggs, two kinds of cheese, some salami, and fresh tomatoes. It's a reasonable choice for a short stay, but I wouldn't call it a four-star hotel.

I expected at least a clean room and a decent night's sleep, even for what we paid. We'd booked two months ahead, but the floor was still dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Dust was everywhere, including inside the cupboards. There was a stale smell, like the window hadn't been opened in ages. No room service and no facilities. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was okay, the bed was clean, and the bathroom did what it needed to. If all you need is somewhere to sleep, this place works. It gets pretty noisy inside, but the hotel is right on a busy boulevard.
