We had a lovely weekend here for grandma’s birthday. The villa is modern and well equipped for a family break, with five bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen has what you need to cook, while supermarkets, restaurants, and takeaways are all within walking distance. There’s a long dining table with ten chairs, plus a pleasant outdoor area for relaxing, having a warm bath, or barbecuing. Being on Bușteni’s main street can mean some noise, but the windows are well insulated and we weren’t bothered. We could drive into the yard and park two cars. Just note there are around 20 steps from the street or parking area up to the entrance.

We had a great time and would come back as soon as we get the chance. The villa is nicely decorated and has everything you need for a trip with friends or family. The hot tub was a special treat, something you don’t often find at other places.

The main disappointment was the bathtub. We were told at check-in that it had “broken exactly the day before we came,” leaving us no choice but to accept the situation. We’d hoped to use it during at least one of our two nights, and I suspect it was part of what we paid for. Hearing it would be ready the following week didn’t help us at all. After the usual apologies, two managers did try to do something on Friday when we arrived, but little else came of it. Communication from the renters felt rather careless. As for the accommodation itself, I had no complaints, except that there was no cutlery at all. I would’ve given two and a half stars, just to keep things a little optimistic.
