I called five days before check-in and said each time that we wanted rooms in Bușteni. When we arrived, we called him and he said he thought we wanted rooms in Sinaia. Completely unprofessional, and he didn’t even apologize. L.E.: You didn’t ask for any advance payment :) You said you had availability and that I could come without any problem.

Casa Andutu only takes cash on site. We arrived early in the morning, parked across the street, and let them know. The room was still occupied, so we agreed to come back in the evening. The gentleman confirmed by phone that it would be fine. We could only speak by phone because the pension was locked and there was no outside access. Around 7 in the evening, we called to say we’d arrive later. The lady told us she’d given away ALL the rooms and that what had been agreed during the morning shift wasn’t her problem. THEN SHE DIDN'T ANSWER ANY MORE OF OUR CALLS. We tried the same number from another phone, and the gentleman answered. He explained there’s no 24-hour reception and that we should have arrived by 5 pm at the latest, because nobody was there to unlock the pension for us!!!! SO THEY CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION WITHOUT TELLING US, AND THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO ABOUT IT! He said he’d recommend another pension, but it turned out to be a private home, not a regular pension.

I’m still stunned by that phone call. The owner was incredibly rude and spoke to me with no respect or appreciation for customers.
