The room was large and clean, and the host was kind and helpful. The furniture wasn't new, but it was fine. Nice hotel in a good spot. There isn't a restaurant on site, though there's one across the street.

Casa Tad in Bușteni seemed like the right base after I researched places for my trip from Venezuela to explore Romania, and I was glad I chose it. The mountain views are incredible, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and well designed. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay feel even more special. I highly recommend Casa Tad when visiting Bușteni.

We returned this winter, staying February 21-23, 2025, and again found it to be great value with a perfect location. I definitely recommend it, and hope they keep it up! On our first visit, January 3-6, 2024, we paid 500 lei per night for room 12 on the third floor, for two adults and two children aged 13. The receptionist was lovely and looked after every guest. The room was clean, and the location is a two-minute walk from Kalinderu slope. The kitchen was clean, had three fridges, and tea and coffee were available whenever you wanted. One drawback was that the kids' room was in the attic, reached by a narrow staircase. Also, some guests made popcorn, and the smell reached the third floor. It would be nice to have some extra rules about that.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming, right by the Kalinderu slope in Busteni. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are friendly.
