The staff were so welcoming that they even packed breakfast for us when we had to head out early. The hotel was warm and comfortable, with a peaceful, clean setting above the valley near the forest. We really enjoyed our stay.

The terrace has a stunning view, the rooms were spotless, and I had all the equipment I needed. Breakfast was good, and on the quieter Monday they made the main dish to order. The staff were kind, and the place has a lot of soul. I liked everything. Getting downtown took longer than it might seem: although the place is just across the river from the main crossroads, you have to walk around to a bridge, making it about 13 minutes instead of 3. That didn’t bother me. I also wasn’t personally affected, but I think access for disabled people is poor in Romania generally.

We chose a room with a view for our first anniversary weekend, and the gorgeous scenery made it easy to spend the day relaxing in the cozy bed. The staff were very polite, the room was clean, and breakfast was out of this world :) The location is great too, so we’ll definitely come back. I highly recommend it for couples.

The surroundings were peaceful, with enough distance from town, while Cantacuzino Castle was only about a 10-minute walk away. Our room looked out over town and was clean and nicely heated. The staff were friendly and respectful, and the food was good without being very expensive. We had a perfect weekend and I’d clearly return for a vacation. P.S. the chocolate pancakes were amazing ❤️
