Martin was easily the nicest person we met in Romania. He explained things clearly, kept our safety in mind, and was always offering help. He drove us to buy raincoats so we could walk in the rain more comfortably, then took our suitcases to the train station. When we considered hiking somewhere with less rain, he warned us about the risks and suggested safer alternative routes. We came to Busteni for three nights planning to hike and see nearby attractions, but hadn’t packed enough clothes for the weather. It rained for at least two full days, and the cable car wasn’t running, so we had to adjust as we went. We ended up spending a lot of time in the apartment because it was so inviting and comfortable. The jacuzzi room was magnificent, the garden lovely, and the living room warm and cozy. Couldn’t have asked for better, thank you!

Martin went out of his way to help and make us feel at home. The bear house itself was huge, beautiful, and very clean, and you can see how much effort went into it. The jacuzzi made an already amazing stay even better. Really recommend it.

The view was stunning, the bed was very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was cleaned every day. Mrs. Martin was so kind and checked with us several times to see if we needed anything. The place was amazing and very clean. I can’t think of a single bad thing about the people or the place. 10/10, I’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay with family and friends. The host made check-in easy and was very helpful, and all the rooms were immaculate when we arrived. The houses sit in a valley with beautiful views, especially from the jacuzzi, an unforgettable experience. Thanks for giving us such a great place to stay. 🤩

Amazing facilities and a crazy good view made our few days here great. Marty looked after us so well, even driving us to a mall to buy raincoats.
