Really excellent!

The rooms were spacious and clean, but there was a sewer smell in the bathroom. What made the stay so unpleasant was the owner’s behavior. She kept watching us and criticizing what we did. I rent a villa to unwind with family or friends, not to have someone hovering over us, telling us not to leave lights on too long, not to use the oven because it uses gas, or constantly instructing us. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d rather stay somewhere less attractive if the owner showed basic respect and gave guests some privacy.

The villa is attractive and has the utilities you need, plus two shared areas that worked well for our large group. We even had a barbecue. But the woman managing the place was way over the top. She lived across the way and kept an eye on us throughout the stay, then came by often to complain that lights were left on, we weren’t wearing slippers indoors, we used the oven too long, or we were being noisy.

The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, the toilets were filthy, and the sheets were stained and unclean. On top of all that, the host was rude and irritating. I’m sorry the rating can’t go below one star, and I’d avoid this place.
