Hotel Art

Everything is within walking distance, from museums and famous places to special parks. The hotel is in the city center, close to many tourist attractions. The best hotel in Romania.

The breakfast was fine, but nothing special and certainly not "excellent." It's served only from 7-9 am, and they stick to that: it was cleared by 9:02. That's a very short breakfast window for a four-star hotel, in my opinion. The rooms also look dated despite the online pictures and the claims that Hotel Art is "recently renovated" and "boutique." It's advertised as four-star, but I'd generously give it three. The hotel is relatively central and has free parking, but there were no individual toiletries, just an installed shower gel dispenser. The duvet had no sheet, and after I pointed it out, front desk staff told me it was hot, so I had to put the sheet on myself. Some furniture was damaged or old. For what you get, the price feels way too high, and I'm sure there are better, cheaper choices in town. I wouldn't recommend it. It's frustrating when a place with great reviews doesn't meet expectations, and Hotel Art was one of those.

We were in Buzau for a wedding, and Hotel Art worked well as a convenient place to stay. Getting around was easy since taxi drivers all knew it, and the English name should be simple for English speakers to ask for. The hotel itself was nice enough, though the air conditioning wasn’t very functional and our shower drained poorly. Those issues felt minor.

This was my first hotel stay in Romania, so I can't compare it with other places here. The room was as large as a suite would be in some other countries, and the furniture was fine. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, and breakfast was pretty limited. Still, it was okay.
