The trout and fish borsch are the highlights for me, and the polenta made from corn ground at an old style mill has a quality you can really notice. It’s a cosy, private spot, with a few parking spaces right outside. Prices feel fair for the food. It’s a small family business, and you can feel that in the service, though at one point it seemed they might be short staffed, perhaps because of all the turmoil in the industry.

The eco rooms are lovely, and the surrounding nature is beautiful. The fish and other food were delicious, and the staff were kind. Many thanks to the people running the place for helping people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

It's a lovely, peaceful location, though be aware the road in is dirt and can be tough for low cars. The staff are friendly, service is fine, and prices are reasonable. The trout is as fresh as it gets, they take it from their own pond when it's ordered. If you don't eat fish, there's mămăligă with cheese and cream (MBS), which isn't on the menu. For dessert, the papanași cu afine with blueberry jam are excellent.

The lady who served us was so kind, and the place itself made me want to come back. We went on a hunch and I was amazed by how perfectly the fish was prepared. Best trout in the area.
