Pensiunea Rustica

The biggest treat was the stream flowing right in front of the cottage. The area is peaceful and easy to reach, and the road really wasn't that bad, I've seen worse. We were a group of about 25 adults and children, staying May 31-June 2, and what we got matched what had been described to us by phone. The rooms and shared bathrooms were clean, the living room generous, and the dining room spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, the yard was fine, and there was enough parking. The hosts were welcoming, and the gentleman in charge helped with whatever we needed. Good value for the price. Congratulations!

This place has potential, but when we stayed it was badly managed. We weren't checked in until 7:30 PM, despite accommodation being due after 2:00 PM. A man who didn't inspire confidence opened the door, then started cleaning and kept us waiting outside for an hour until dark. The next day we were kept waiting to pay, and no tax receipt was issued. I don't think you were the person managing the place, but whoever was bears most of the blame for what happened. The toilets were shared, unwashed, and full of excrement. The kitchen was a nightmare, the living room small, and there was only one 22-inch TV. A deplorable, filthy, stinking place. I wouldn't stay again and don't recommend it at all.

Getting there means taking a stone road rather than an asphalt one. The setup, with a kitchen, dining room, barbecue area, and gazebo, felt to me like a three-star campsite. It seems better suited to groups of children or young people on motorbikes.

Set on the edge of town, this is a very peaceful spot with little traffic, partly because access is along a country road. We slept well between hikes around the region: the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The guesthouse is close to a stream, which is lovely to listen to at night before bed.
