A clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay, with fresh air and a nice view of the peak mountains. It was especially peaceful on working days, and the hosts were very friendly.

We went as two families with one baby. The guest house is in Cheia village, on a quiet street that's easy to reach. The rooms were clean and had a good color scheme, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the garden and terrace were tidy. There was a children's playground with a swing and slide, a ping-pong table, and plenty of breakfast. A few things bothered us. You can't book just one night, and the house rules don't let you bring your own food or drinks. I find it illogical that you have to buy water from the guest house to keep in your room overnight. You also can't use the barbecue to make your own black angus burger or share home-brewed beer with friends. Food and drinks have to be bought there. The host sometimes seemed bothered by having guests around, though they are hard-working people. And people shouldn't be allowed to smoke on the terrace when the windshield is closed.

The backyard is lovely, and the rooms are clean and modern. There’s also parking in front for guests. I'd give the pension three flowers for those things. The owners work hard, but don't seem to have experience or ambition in this business. I have pictures of the backyard, but didn't take the risk with the rooms. This place has potential, but it seems best for people booking at least two nights, since they said handling a one-night booking was too much trouble. They may also prefer guests who bring no food, water, or drinks, though I'm not sure about cigarettes, so they can sell their overpriced products. We felt unwanted, as if guests bothered them even though they were being paid to host us. You may want to skip the breakfast, even if it's included, because it was poor and you had to ask for everything, including plates, napkins, and refills of meat or cheese. If you bring a baby, try to keep them and their stroller as out of sight as possible so they don't bother anyone. Take this seriously, because there are surveillance cameras in the hallways, and maybe in the rooms too, you never know.

The place looks okay, but the owners were terrible and had no basic politeness. We won't come back. Stay there at your own risk.
