It’s a very clean hotel, and reception was a big help when I checked in. My room was basic, with running water, and the old town is about 2-3 km away. For a budget visit to Cluj, it’s a very good spot. I’d definitely return.

The staff were good, and at first glance the room looked clean. We were in room 3, but after settling in we spotted a large patch of mold beside the bed and by the bathroom wall. The smell from it was horrible. There isn’t a proper window, just a very small opening, so little light or air gets in.

The staff were nice and breakfast was good. It’s close to the main bus stop, with everything within walking distance, and communication in English was no problem. The only issue is that neighbors can make your room a bit noisy.

We got a very clean, spacious room at the back of the property, so it was quiet. It was also very warm, which suited our January visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had to leave before breakfast was served, so I can’t comment on it. The only downside was the lack of outlets.

A nice hotel, with plenty of places to eat nearby.
