The room had a balcony and was spacious, which was a plus, but when I stayed it was dirty. There was dust everywhere, a coffee splash on the wall, and an old pair of socks in the closet. Two beds had been pushed together, but one had a missing support arch, so it was uncomfortable. You’d have to be really tired to sleep on it. The bathroom was large and had a corner bathtub, though the jacuzzi function didn’t work. I also found a strand of dirty hair in the tub drain. The water was cold, and I waited an hour for hot water because the boiler couldn’t keep up with the number of guests. The shared kitchenette was tiny. When the guesthouse was full, there was nowhere to eat, so you had to wait for a space to open up. There were no knives, and it was dirty with no ventilation. If someone had heated food with garlic, the smell stayed throughout the pension for the next two days. The owner was nice and tried to help, but she clearly had too much to deal with. This is a low-class place for people who aren’t fussy. It’s a two-star establishment, though I’m not sure it earns both stars. When I was there, it was full of construction workers, probably under a long-term accommodation contract. The villa is reasonably well placed in a residential neighborhood, fairly close to the airport, about 20 minutes away, but it sits on an unpaved road, so expect a lot of mud if it rains. Parking is included, but there are only two spaces, which isn’t nearly enough for the guesthouse’s capacity. The owners have a car too, so you’ll probably end up parking on the street.
