Campeador Inn

The location is handy for the airport, though it’s quite far from the city center if that’s where you need to go. There was lots of free parking across from the hotel when we visited. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant has fair prices and a decent choice of food and drinks. I liked the shrimp pasta and lemonade. Our room was spacious and incredibly clean, with a comfortable bed and AC that worked very well. The bathroom was a bit small, but it didn’t bother me much.

The staff were so friendly and keen to help, even though I could only communicate in English as a foreigner. Lovely place to stay, and a lovely country with nice people.

We arrived after a long day and were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was pleasant, with a comfortable bed and soft touches that helped us relax. Soft music and warm lighting made for a soothing atmosphere. Breakfast had a good variety of tasty food and great coffee, and secure parking was a plus. Highly recommended.

I liked the simple decor with bright color accents, though that’s just my taste. The online app was handy for choosing ‘do not disturb’ or ‘clean the room’. There was a good coffee machine, comfy bed, strong shower pressure, and nice hot water. The area was quiet, with shops and parks within walking distance and some restaurants a bit farther away. Everyone we met on staff was really nice, and dinner at the restaurant was fresh and delicious, with attentive waiting staff. I’d seen comments about noise, but the hotel doesn’t claim to be soundproof, so I bring earbuds and that solves it for me. The AC worked, though it switched on and off randomly; maybe it was adjusting the room temperature, which stayed good for us. The electricity cut out every few hours, which I think may be for energy saving when guests leave lights on. Opening the door brought it back. There was plenty of parking, although in busier months you might need to park on the street.
