4/10
The rooms were elegant and clean, but I don't think we'll return. My partner and I stayed for two nights at the end of January, hoping to use the spa to relax if the weather kept us from hiking. We knew bad weather was possible, but only found out on arrival that the spa area wasn't operating. After a long journey and bad weather all weekend, that was a real letdown. The booking.hu listing hadn't said the spa was closed. Breakfast on Saturday was slow, and they got our order wrong as well.

8/10
The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and it’s a very nice hotel. Breakfast was mixed: some dishes were tasty, others less so, and food meant to be hot was barely warm. The spa resort also gets a big minus for having no spa or pool open. They say it should open around December, so I might come back then.

We were here for two nights in December 2025 for a Christening party, and had a great stay at Elania Hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are big, and the linen and towels are good quality. Everything seems very well managed. I highly recommend it.

Ioana and her colleagues really went out of their way to help me surprise my mother, which made our time at this hotel extraordinary. It’s one of the most unique hotels in Cluj Napoca. I hope we get to stay here again soon.

We’ll definitely return. The place is new, spotless, peaceful, and has everything you’d want in a hotel. Food and cleanliness both get a 10/10, and I’d recommend it to anyone.
