Hotel Biscuit

The bathroom was a bit small, but clean and did the job. The rooms were cozy, nicely decorated, and clean, with enough space for a stay of one or two nights. The room was warm, and the hot water was a blast. It had all the amenities you’d need for a short stay, plus a nice little breakfast, friendly staff, and a closed underground parking lot. The price was very good for Cluj. Awesome small boutique hotel, I’d definitely come back. 100% recommend!

The website photos make everything look flawless, but the hotel itself feels like it hasn’t had any investment in years. The walls are dirty, the bathroom fixtures are all rusty, and the old furniture is damaged. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. I spent quite a lot on one camera, so the poor quality for the price was especially disappointing. I don’t recommend it.

I checked in after 21:00 and there was nobody at reception. I called and tried ringing the bell, but no one came. Self check-in got me inside, but if you need information, or in my case an iron, you’re on your own :))) The furniture is really old, stained and full of flaws, and the curtains look very dirty, or at least stained, like they’re 50 years old. I don’t understand how this is a 3-star hotel. It feels like a mix of a cheap Airbnb and a hostel. I’ve stayed in great hostels before.

The people here are so lovely, you’d want to take them home! They go out of their way to make everyone feel included and comfortable, and the staff are so helpful and welcoming that you feel at home straight away. The hotel itself is super cute, clean, and comfortable, with interior parking too, which was a plus for us. Breakfast was amazing. It’s been a long time since we’ve had such a nice hotel morning, and that’s thanks to the staff who thought of all the details. An exceptional hotel and an amazing experience all around!
