Palace Bulevard

A good place for a vacation or a few days away. The rooms were great and clean, and breakfast was great too. The location is handy, about five minutes from the malls and the center.

The room smelled awful, and the room itself felt like an old construction site. The bathroom fan was noisy and falling apart. Its shower sprayed all over, leaving the whole bathroom wet, and there were no shelves for toiletries or light by the mirror. The corridors were terribly cold, and tiles had come loose underfoot on the stairs. Breakfast was very bad: by 9 there was nothing to eat, and until 10 there was no breakfast, just a couple of eggs left. The eggs were cold every morning. I’d paid for three nights but slept two because I couldn’t stand it. The Nutella had been empty since I arrived. You’ll see it all in the pictures I’m posting. The reception and breakfast area are nice. Everything else was a disaster.

We had a deluxe suite for two adults and three children. It was very spacious, with two large rooms, two bathrooms, and a view of the main street. The suite was super clean, warm, and cozy, in an amazing spot right in the city center. Highly recommend ❤️

The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable, and asking for extras led to being told they cost 50 lei each. I’ve never had a hotel charge extra for such basic comfort before. A very strange and disappointing experience, and truly unacceptable.
