Pensiunea Zbor 1

I had a very nice stay, and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, with a big balcony and an amazing view. There’s no breakfast, but there’s a coffee machine outside facing the hotel, as shown in the pictures, and the coffee is nice. The receptionist doesn’t speak English, but Vlad, the taxi driver who picked me up from the airport, helped translate my conversation with reception and showed me the room. I think you need a car to explore the area.

The rooms were really good, and we slept like kings. It’s super close to the airport, and above all the owner and staff were friendly, genuine people.

A handy place to stay overnight if you’ve got an early flight or arrive late, especially when you have a long journey to or from the airport.

We paid 3240 LEI for 3 nights for 3 people during UNTOLD, even though reception showed the triple room at 330 LEI per night, or 990 For 3 nights for the Suite. Four times more just because of the festival is EXORBITANT. For that price we didn’t even get breakfast or coffee/tea, just an industrial coffee machine and nothing to eat, and there’s nowhere nearby to have breakfast. The room wasn’t cleaned during our 3 days, and there are no blinds. The curtains don’t cover the whole window, so after coming back from a party at dawn, the sun wakes you up quickly. In the shower there was hand soap but no shampoo, and the shower knob didn’t fit that shower, so you have to hold it with one hand while washing. The room itself was fine and the beds were good. But this was the first and last time we’ll stay at the Zbor pension. That price is what you’d pay for a 5-star room at the Montreux Palace in Switzerland. For the next UNTOLD festival we’ll find somewhere else to sleep.
