Seven Hotel

The reception told us someone had found a wallet before we even realized ours was missing. Everything was still inside, including the documents and money. Thank you to the hotel management for returning it. Their professionalism really impressed me, and I recommend the hotel.

The location worked for me, though it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. I was there on a business trip with a tight budget, and the room was what I expected for the price. The front office team was friendly. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise, maybe recently renovated, and a step up from the bedroom. Next time I’m in Cluj I’ll probably try another hotel to compare, but I’d still consider Hotel Seven.

The staff were friendly, but the place wasn’t clean. There were bed bugs, dirt in the vents, and it didn’t look like they vacuumed. I made them move me to another room, and that one was underwhelming too. Breakfast is included, but it wasn’t good. I wouldn’t go there.

The price felt more than fair for a true 3-star hotel. We were in Cluj for a week on business, and the basics were all there: spacious rooms, working appliances and bathrooms, daily cleaning, and a good breakfast. The staff were kind and quick to help. There’s a locked garage for two cars that you can reserve free if you need parking, and taxis wait right outside. Central areas are a 20-25 minute walk away. We kept noticing businesses around Cluj with “seven” in their names, from clubs and game rooms to guest houses and stores. This hotel’s name makes sense once you see it sits where seven roads meet. We uploaded a few pictures of the intersection.
